The Dodos

I could have sworn that back in 2008 the band, The Dodo's had an apostrophe in their name. Punctuation aside, The Dodos dropped their most recent album last week.

I have to admit, its been months since I've bought an entire album of any music, but I feel Time to Die was more than worth $8. Meric Long, Logan Kroeber, and Keaton Snyder deliver a more clean, tame sound than albums prior, but what they lack in raw sound they make up with catchy acoustic. Hey, lo-fi can't stay lo-fi forever!

There is something so simple about a stripped-down set up of guitar, percussion, and vocals.
